VOICES FROM AROUND THE WORLD:
Stories of Vanier Students 2006
Wednesday, October 25, 2006

The Learning Centre held a book launch for its most recent edition of Voices From Around The World: Stories of Vanier Students on October 25, 2006. Of the 44 stories that make up the collection, nine were selected to be read in front of the audience in the Amphitheatre.

The event opened with a welcome from our Academic Dean, John McMahon. Joanne Ellis of The Learning Centre spoke about the history of Voices From Around The World, and English teacher Susana Moreno spoke about what it was like to work on the book with her students. The event was a wonderful way for us to celebrate the richness of Vanier’s diverse student population.

We invite you to view some photos below whaich were taken at the book launch.
