BRIDGE
BUILDING CONTEST 2004
|
![]() |
The 13th Annual Bridge Building Contest was, as usual, a complete and unqualified success! Alexandre Kharlamov, (left) a music student, set a new Vanier record! His tiny 160g bridge held a load of 32 kilograms for a ratio of 200 times it's own weight, winning first place and the prize for Bridge Holding The Greatest Load. In addition, Alexandre won the prize for Craftsmanship and Aesthetics. Coming in second place was Bobby Lumia, and third place went to the team of Ryan Deschamps, Erin Maywood and Luke Samuel Partington. View a video taken that day. |
