Val enjoyed a very successful career in the Canadian music industry. During Val’s 32 years in the business he worked in a number of roles including Promotion Rep, Sales Rep, and Marketing Manager until his promotion to Eastern Regional Director at EMI Music.
His expertise is in designing and implementing creative promotional campaigns and detailed marketing plans helping to launch new artists as well as increasing the exposure of established stars. In his various roles, Val has worked with such renowned artists as the Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Coldplay, Norah Jones and many others.
Val joined our Audio Recording teaching team 2 years ago educating our students about this very intriguing and constantly changing field.
