Peter started learning guitar at the age of 18 and pursued a career in music for 15 years. He composed and arranged original material, wrote sound tracks for CBC commercials, and worked as a session musician highlighted by his opening act for the Edgar Winter/Rick Derringer and Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at the Montreal Forum in 1977.
During the 1980’s Peter discovered a passion for computers and has been involved in the computer technology industry ever since. He obtained a degree in Electronics and worked as an Audio Consultant and for a number of years before starting his own computer consulting company doing troubleshooting, assembling and programming computers for a number of clients including many in the music industry (Aquarius, DKD, Gamma Records).
Peter now spends most of his professional time teaching, as he has been doing in our program for the past 3 years.
