Audio Recording Technology

Vanier College provides the following services to Audio Recording students on a personal, timely and no charge basis:

Learning Centre

Students can receive personal assistance and helpful tips in such areas as study skills, written assignments, vocabulary enhancement, preparing for exams and time management. Individual appointments with a learning specialist can be made as well as access to online tutorial programs.

Financial Aid

Audio Recording students may be eligible for a Québec government interest-free Loan. Help in completing this application process is provided along with friendly advice about budgeting and money management.

Counselling Services

Counselling helps students deal better with personal issues, academic problems or to arrange for career counselling and testing.

Academic Advising

An Academic Advisor can provide help with admission requirements for university entrance, academic regulations and policies, or referral to other community and educational resources.

Library

The Library offers a vast collection of books, journals, access to electronic databases and other academic resources and references. In addition, the Library staff can help students develop better academic research skills.

Employment Development

This service is designed to help students get better prepared for their job hunt by offering individual assistance in such topics as preparing a curriculum vitae (CV), interview tips, and job search techniques.

Sports Complex

The Sports Complex offers students the opportunity to improve their fitness through such activities as Free Swim, racquetball and the Fitness Centre (discounted student rates).
