Although Audio Recording Technology adopts music as its focal point, it offers comprehensive training so as to ensure that students will be prepared to work in a variety of audio careers such as:
  • Studio, television and radio engineers sound technician
  • Live theatre and concert technicians
  • Production and sound directors and technicians
  • Technicians and directors for advertising and commercial projects
  • Post-synchronization and audio dubbing technicians
  • Internet audio specialists
  • Sound effects technicians and video game developers
 
 
Flexibility is a key element in the training of Audio Recording students. In most cases, graduates can expect to work on a contract basis in the early stages of their career which will demand their versatility. Also, they should be prepared to work on different locations within Quebec, Canada or even internationally.
