IN THE NEWS
THREE LADY SOCCER CHEETAHS
NAMED AS LEAGUE ALL-STARS

November 8, 2004

After last weekend's seminal crude defeat, the Vanier Women's Soccer team received some good news.

Among approximately 150 players in our league, 27 players were nominated to be the Final League All-Stars. Among these 27, three players are from Vanier College. They are:

Kimberley Fordham: A David Beckham style of player except that she has a better header, she is rough yet elegant. A smart player with the ball but smarter without it. She has great field vision and could probably play blindfolded.

Sarah Lucier-Boisvert: Sizzling moves, great ball control and passes that break a defence in two. These are only three obvious characteristics that describe The Girls capitain and last year's League All-Star. A silent leader who is effective and efficient.

Cristina Di Caprio:
The League Top Goal Scorer could win her second League All Star award and she should. Her sensational speed and hard and heavy shot gave headaches to coaches and bruises to the opposite players.

We promise that we will keep you posted with the leagues final results.
