Cheetah Fans here is a quick recap on your Cheetahs.

Our Men’s Football team travelled to Quebec City for a game against Limoilou. They started off extremely strong with a touch down pass from Dimitri Sinodinos to Samuel Emilus. Brandon Fombuena converted his kick and the Cheetahs were up 7-0. Minutes later the Cheetahs defense pushed Limoilou into their end zone, giving the Cheetahs a 2 point Safety. It was quite a defensive game on both ends as both teams didn’t score during the 2nd and 3rd Quarter. We had a great opportunity at the end of the 1st quarter, but unfortunately due to a penalty we were unable to convert our touchdown.

Key injuries during the game to some veterans also slowed down the Cheetahs Offense, but luckily the defense stood tall, and forced some 3 and outs, and also made some great plays. Rookie Linebacker Xavier Ouellet, had 6 unassisted tackles and 1 interception. The Cheetahs were up 9-7 in the beginning of the fourth quarter, and with a late run, we were able to score a touchdown with 53 seconds left to go sealing a victory for our Cheetahs. The Cheetahs won with a final score of 16-7, and is currently 1st place. They play against St-Jean on October 1st @ St-Jean @ 7:30pm. Good Luck to them

They played tough, but unfortunately lost 19-0. The second game against Cegep St-Laurent, was a completely different team. They came out motivated, and determined bring back a win. They cheetahs played together, and with some tough defensive plays, and some great offensive passes our Cheetahs beat St-Laurent 20-6. The Cheetahs are now 2-2, and play in Valleyfield on Saturday October 1st, 2016.

Women’s Soccer

Our Women’s Soccer team is currently 3-0, and they were determined to make it 4-0. There was no chance that any team was going to come on their turf and take their undefeated season away from them. The Cheetahs as always, came out strong and united. Alex Agozzino had a stellar game scoring 3 goals. The Cheetahs won 7-1 and are still undefeated. The Cheetahs play at home on Sunday Vs St-Jean @ 1:00pm. Come out and support your Cheetahs!
