The RSEQ Division 2 Men’s Basketball Provincial Championships got started on Friday evening at Cegep Limoilou in Quebec City. In their opening match, our Cheetahs lost in the quarterfinals 91-69 against a very tough team from Sainte-Foy. They next played in the consolation match on Saturday morning against Champlain-Lennoxville and unfortunately lost that game as well by the score of 71-55.

Still, we offer our congratulations to Head Coach Rowan Barnes and to the entire team who had a very successful regular season record of 10 wins and 6 losses, and then went on to win a Bronze Medal in the Conference Championships which propelled them to participate in this weekend’s Provincials.
