The RSEQ (Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec) celebrated the best in collegial AAA football at the annual banquet held Saturday, December 11th in Montreal's John Molson Hall. In the night's most prestigious prize, Vanier Cheetahs quarterback Jérémi Roch (seen at left) won the title of Player of the Year. As well, he won earlier that same evening the prize for Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight year.

The Vanier Commerce student completed 200 of 319 passes for 2777 yards and 27 touchdowns. Only three of his passes were intercepted all season. He was instrumental in guiding the Cheetahs to a 9-1 season record and although he was injured in the semi-final game VS Lennoxville, he is still justifiably credited with leading the Cheetahs to the Bol d'Or championship. (Although the clutch performance of backup quarterback Benoit Lacasse in the Bol d'Or finals where he garnered Player of the Game with his 4 TD passes is by no means to be discounted in any way.)
