ALUMNI UPDATES + COACHING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Dear Alumni & Friends,
I am pleased to announce that Kazadi Nyanguila (right), who was the starting center on our men's AAA team the past 2 seasons, has committed to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats (NCAA Division 1) for the upcoming (2010-11) season.
Kazadi turned down offers and serious interest from several other D1 schools. We wish Kazadi the best of luck, and we know that he will represent Vanier with pride. |

After graduating from Stetson University, alum Olivier Dupiton (left) has accepted a scholarship at Mercyhurst College, where he will do a Master's degree in Business Administration.
Alum Anaclet Mulumba Mbayi (right) has transferred from Fairleigh Dickenson University to Palm Beach Atlantic University, where he will complete his bachelor’s degree and then do his Master's as well.

Alum Hernst Laroche (right), who is the starting point guard at New Mexico State University, champions of the WAC Conference, will be playing close to home this Fall.
The Aggies are entered in the Hall of Fame tournament in Springfield, Mass., along with UMass, USC and NCAA finalist Butler, to be played on November 20 & 21, 2010. |

I am very pleased to announce that Steve White (left) has joined the coaching staff of our men’s AAA basketball team. Steve coached for 14 years at Champlain St. Lambert and was the Associate Head Coach of their men’s AAA team the past few years.
I am also very pleased to announce that Dakarai Jarvis (right) has joined the coaching staff for our men's AAA basketball team for the upcoming season. Dakarai was formerly the head coach of the Dawson College AA men's team and also has coached with Dawson Community and the Brookwood Elite AAU program.
