Vanier’s offense was paced by Roch, who completed 17 of 24 pass attempts for 227 yards and 3 touchdown passes. Jerome Stewart led the ground attack with 42 yards on 12 carries while Norzil and Harrington were the Cheetahs’ top receivers with 4 receptions apiece for 65 and 42 yards respectively. Joey Finn had a terrific game for Vanier’s steel curtain defense with 8 tackles. The Cheetahs put their perfect 4-0 record on the line this Saturday when they travel to Lennoxille to take on the Cougars. Game time is 1:00 p.m.

SOCCER RESULTS
In soccer action, the Lady Cheetahs posted a pair of shutout wins to raise their early season record to 2-1-0. At Vanier College on Friday, they hammered Terrebonne 5-0 before posting a 2-0 road win over Montmorency on Sunday. The ladies have back-to-back games this week as they travel to St. Jean this Wednesday for an 8:30 game before hosting Montmorency on Thursday. The game start is slated for 7:00 p.m.
The Men’s Soccer Cheetahs saw their early season record tumble to 0-3-0 with a 2-1 setback at Lionel-Groulx on Friday. Kevin Brandon Perez-Morataya scored the lone Vanier goal in the loss. The Cheetahs play host to Sainte-Foy on Friday at the Vanier College Soccer Field. Game time is 7:30 p.m. They then hit the road on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. when they visit John Abbott to take on the Islanders.
RUGBY RESULTS
Elsewhere, the Rugby Cheetahs came up empty at John Abbott in their regular season openers. The men lost 46-10 while the Lady Cheetahs were blanked 75-0. Both teams will host Marianopolis this Sunday with the ladies playing at 11:00 a.m. and the men hitting the pitch at 12:30 p.m.
