Official announcement:

Women's AA Soccer
Three members of the Vanier Lady Soccer Cheetahs were named to the All-star team in an announcement made by ARSCIM.

Congratulations go out to Sarah Lucier Boisvert, (who was also selected as a member of the ARSCIM Flag Football All-star team) Kim Fordham and Sara Colella for this well-deserved honour that does us all proud.

The Lady Soccer Cheetahs made it all the way to the league semi-finals this year after losing only two games all year in regular league action.

Men's AA Soccer
ARSCIM announced the selection of Vanier team captain Kirk Hearns to the Men's Soccer league All-Star team. Despite having 15 rookies, coach Jason Bresler and his troops had an outstanding season. The Men's Soccer Cheetahs made it all the way to the semifinals in the playoffs. Congratulations to Kirk, Coach Bresler and to the entire team.

Women's Rugby
The Vanier Women's Rugby Cheetahs had a whopping five team members selected to the ARSCIM All-star team. This was understandable since, as you probably know, the team won the League Championships by defeating John Abbott in the finals on November 6th. Congratulations go out to team members Robin Hunter, Claudia De Minico, Samantha Nesi, Kelly Rember and Meghan Whyte as well as to coach Ron Chiasson for a truly successful season.

Men's Rugby
The Vanier Men's Rugby Cheetahs also had a very successful season. Though the men lost a nail-biter to Dawson in the semifinals, they did finish in first place in their division. As well, both Vanier men and women won the league’s Éthique Sportive awards for displaying the best sportsmanship in the rugby league this year. Congratulations to team members Shane McNaughton, Derrick Boyce and Paul Timperley for their All-star selection.

Flag Football
Three members of the Vanier Flag Football Cheetahs were named to the All-star team in an announcement made by ARSCIM, the organization responsible for Collegial Sport on the island of Montreal.

Congratulations to Sarah Lucier Boisvert, Elyse Fournier and Koula Trichas for this well-deserved honour.

Congratulations also go out to Coach Rick Yuen who was selected as the Coach of the Year for our division.
