Former Vanier Cheetahs Defensive
End Ameet Pall has been busy during his stay with the Wofford Terriers. He is in his second season as the starter at right defensive end and came into this campaign with a total of 56 career tackles and 7.5 sacks. He was recently the subject of a very favourable article in the goupstate.com website.
The coaching staff say they are grateful for his tremendous contributions and always tell him that when he returns to Montreal he should send more just like him. Wofford head coach Mike Ayers said, “He’s got tremendous quickness. He’s strong and explosive. Ameet really jumps off the ball. If people don’t hold him, he’s going to a play.”
While with the Cheetahs, Ameet set the CEGEP AAA league record for most quarterback sacks in one season. He also holds the current CEGEP league ALL-TIME sack record. Pall won Defensive Player of the Game honours for the Cheetahs' two consecutive Bol d'Or wins in 2006 and 2007 and was also Player of the Game at the 2007 Junior Championships for Team Canada.

While Ameet was re-writing the record books during his stay at Vanier, we were certainly aware that he was an extraordinary player who was destined for greatness. Read an article on Ameet Pall written at the end of his first season at Vanier. We also found an online video clip filmed while he was here at Vanier that shows some of Ameet's highlights which includes lots of QB sacks . If you're a quarterback, you should be warned, viewer discretion is advised! Click here.
