Congratulations to
Vanier athlete Corey Paquette who snagged a gold medal
in judo at the 2007 Canada Games held in Whitehorse, Yukon Territories
from February 23rd to March 10th.

Corey had another first
place finish in his weight division (67-73 KG) at the Ontario
Open held on November 25, 2006.
A member of the provincial team, Corey Paquette has already chalked
up an impressive list of honours: two-time National Championships
silver medalist (in 2002 and 2006), two-time National Championships
bronze medalist (in 2003 and 2005), winner of two gold medals at
the 2003 Bathurst-Campbellton Canada Winter Games, bronze medalist
at the 2005 Senior National Championships as well as six-time provincial
champion.
