Men’s Football

Our Vanier Football Team played in the Quarter-Final game versus their all-time rivals, Vieux-Montréal to an exciting win of 34-17. Ryth-Jean started the scoring with a Touchdown at the 3 minute mark. CVM rallied back but we continued in the lead. Mid way through the second quarter, Samuel Emilus made an amazing catch in the end zone keeping us in the lead with a score of 17-14.

The third quarter was a nail biter as CVM tied the score 17-17. The 4th Quarter was all VC with a second Touchdown by Samuel Emilus to put them in the lead 24-17. With an amazing punt, Tyris Lebeau added a 1 point security point with only 1 minute and 48 seconds to go. When we thought that the game was done, Arnold Mbembe, a Defensive Lineman, ran 65 yard from a fumble recovery that brought the fans to their feet and a final score of 32-17. Kudos to our Defensive Team lead by Darren Kyeremeh and Kean Harelimana. AMAZING job.
