Andy led the team the provincial RSEQ Championship and a 4th place finish at the CCAA Nationals. They finished the regular season in first place with a 16-2 record and then defeated perennial rival Dawson College in the provincial finals.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

The 2013-2014 Academic Achievement Award was presented to Tristan Masson of the Division 2 Men's Basketball Cheetahs.

Studying in the Social science program, he is the first men’s basketball player to be named top student athlete. Tristan maintained a phenomenal average of 97.8% last Fall.

No fewer than 11 Cheetahs had averages of over 90% this year.

OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION AWARD

The 2013-2014 Outstanding Contribution Award went this year to Solange Boyer, statistician extraordinaire, who does a phenomenal job maintaining Cheetah statistics from the present all the way back to the 1970s.

Solange is seen at right accepting the award from Vanier Athletics webmaster Denis Lafontaine.

Solange works tirelessly providing Denis (and Athletics in general) with info and stats for players and fans both past and present.
