TEXT OF THE SPEECH GIVEN FOR THIS AWARD The winner of the athlete of the year award received a lot of recognition this season. He was a league all-star as well as earning the offensive lineman of the year award in AAA football. The second year social science student is also the team captain, and recipient of the team offensive lineman award. He has been offered a full scholarship to Florida International University. He was also a member of Team Canada that won the world junior championship. Vanier College 2009 Male Athlete of the Year – RYAN WHITE. |
