SPEECH MADE FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THIS AWARD

Once again the selection committee found itself in the enviable position of having to make a very difficult choice among some very worthy candidates.

Recognized as one of the premiere players in the league in her sport, she has been named to the prestigious league all star team. Named Most Valuable Player for her team, she was an integral piece of the puzzle that helped capture league, provincial and national championships. With her natural athletic ability combined with her great work ethic she was the most dominant 6th "man" in the country. Coming off the bench for the Cheetahs, Anneth added another dimension to the team's pressing defense and provided great rebounding skills. In the National Championship game she hauled down 13 rebounds and was named to the All Tournament team. Averaging 15 points per game this season and 8.2 rebounds, Anneth was an outstanding contributor on a team that has re written Vanier College history.
