ALEX DYAS,
CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLER

Congratulations go out to Vanier wrestler Alex Dyas for his selection by Hydro-Quebec to receive a bursary of $3000. Click on the photo of Alex at left to see a larger version.

Among Alex's achievements are successive national championships. He won first place at the 2005 Junior National Championships (74 kg) then went on to win the 2006 Junior National title (84 kg) this year. See his profile.

This bursary was provided by Hydro-Quebec in partnership with the Quebec Foundation for Athletic Excellence. The official announcement was made in a press release from September 21, 2006 which you can read here.
