| The current program was completely revised 4 years ago and is centered on instructions in the following areas: |

- Architectural projects - cover all phases of architectural projects including building renovations and extensions
- Computer use - AutoCad, Viz, Photoshop, other software commonly employed in the field
- Building science - behaviour and properties of construction materials and their application
- Building systems - structural, mechanical and electrical systems and their integration in buildings
- Creativity and design, Architectural styles
- Project management, contract administration and building regulations

| Special aspects of our program: |

- Sound knowledge of computer aided drafting (Autocad )
- Visits to notable buildings in Montreal and field trips to building sites
- Guest lecturers by representatives from construction organizations and manufacturers of building products , as well as by professional consultants such as architects and engineers
- Model making - hands on projects
- "Stage" after 5th semester - two weeks spent at a firm related to architectural technology
