How
is the new millennium shaping up? Is the Information Age making
it possible for any sized business to reach any other individual
or organization in any place in the world? Is it time to recognize
that we are global citizens? Should we not be celebrating our
similarities and differences? Do we want a new world order? Are
we ready for the power shifts currently occurring? What is going
to happen with all of these corporate mergers and scientific/technological
breakthroughs? Is this the challenge of the new millennium? Is
this the promise of progress?
Who should apply?
Students who are interested in focussing on international issues
and business-related issues can now do so, while at the same
time satisfying the requirements of a CEGEP diploma in a pre-university
Commerce program. At the end of their studies, students will
receive a certificate indicating a Commerce Major in International
Business.
What will a Commerce Major in International Business
lead to?
Many students who complete this major will choose to pursue university
commerce courses and commerce careers. Others will choose to
pursue social science or technology-based programs and careers.
Since these students must complete linear algebra and calculus,
most university programs and subsequent career options are accessible
to them. In other words, many opportunities await our graduates
