SO YOU
CAN TELL fulfills a promise made by the filmmaker's
mother Faiga Burman, 17, to her older sister, Chana,
29, and her 7 year old niece on the fields of the
Majdanek concentration camp to "survive and tell".
This film
is a first prerson eye-witness account from the perspective
of a girl, only 13 when the war started in 1939, tempered
by a woman 50 years removed from the past. Still fueled
by vivid memories and her promise to tell, this film
is the telling.
